Colorado Skibike Friendly Ski Resorts

Winter Park Resort - allows skibobs and peggers.  Allowed in the terrain parks.  No restricted lifts or terrain.

Keystone Ski Resort - allows ski bobs and pegs. License required to rent. Skibob lessons and rentals are available.  No peg lessons or rentals. No conversion skibikes or homemade skibikes permitted.  Bikes must have no more than two skis.  A leash must be worn at all times.  They must load within the envelope of the chair. No restricted lifts or terrain.

Arapahoe Basin - allows skibobs and pegs. No certification license required to ride lift.  Skibikers must use a leash while on lift - heavily enforced.  Pegs must use the Lenawee lift to access upper mountain.  One can ask for the lift to be slowed down.  No loading on the Norway lift for pegs. Skibikes permitted in terrain parks.  Conversion/homemade skibikes permitted.  No lessons or rentals available from A-Basin ski school.

Durango Mountain Resort - Purgatory - License required to board lifts. Fixed grip lifts are restricted. Allowed in the terrain parks.  Skibob rentals available at DMR. Peg rentals available through Pedal the Peaks.  Peg and foot ski lessons available.  Call in advance for peg lessons. Conversion kit skibkes permitted.  No homemade bikes permitted.

Telluride - allows skibobs and peg skibikes.  License required to ride lift.  Skibob lessons and rentals are available.  No peg lessons or rentals available. No restricted lifts or terrain.

Snowmass - allows ski bobs and pegs. No license required.  Leash is required on lifts.  No rentals or lessons.  Skibikes permitted in terrain parks.  No restricted lifts or terrain.  Friday night snowbike tours available at the Four-Mountain Sports store.

Eldora Mountain Resort - Allows pegs and ski-bobs. Leashes required while riding the lift. No restricted lifts or terrain.  No lessons or rentals available.

Ski Hesperus - allows ski bobs and pegs. Must use foot skis on the lift.

Steamboat - Currently allows ski bobs and peg skibikes.  No skibike certification (license) required to rent skibobs.   No skibikes are allowed in the terrain parks. No restricted lifts or terrain.

Copper Mountain - Allows commercially manufactured skibobs.  Adaptive peg skibikes permitted with proper medical documentation submitted to resort. A permit is then fixed to the skibike.  No conversion or homemade bikes permitted.

Vail - Peggers and skibobs permitted.  Allows night-time guided ski bob tours through Adventure Ridge.  No conversion kit or homemade skibikes permitted.  Bikes must have no more than two skis. No SkiTrikes or Snowscooters  Leashes must be worn at all times.  Bikes must load within the envelope of the chair. No restricted lifts or terrain. Allowed in the terrain parks. Peg rentals available at Rocky Mountain Skibikes.

Beaver Creek - Peggers and skibobs permitted. No conversion kit or homemade skibikes permitted.  Bikes must have no more than two skis.  Leashes must be worn at all times.  Bikes must load within the envelope of the chair.

Breckenridge - Peggers and skibobs permitted. No lessons or rentals available. No conversion kit or homemade skibikes permitted.  Bikes must have no more than two skis.  Leashes must be used at all times.  Bikes must load within the envelope of the chair.

Buttermilk - restricted foot access.  Skibobs and peggers allowed.  Leash required on lift - they really enforce this. No restricted lifts or terrain.

Powderhorn - allows peggers and skibobs.  No restricted terrain.  Must use a leash on the lift and while riding.

Crested Butte - allows skibobs and peg skibikes.  License required to ride lift.  Leash required at all times.  Skibob lessons and rentals are available.  No peg lessons or rentals available. Restricted lifts and limited to green or blue terrain.

Ski Granby Ranch - allows ski bobs and peg skibikes.  No lessons or rentals available.

Howelson Hill - limited to magic carpet terrain.

Loveland Ski Area - adaptive skibike only.  Call Ski Patrol to find out requirements.

Monarch Mountain - adaptive skibike only.

Wolf Creek - adaptive skibike only.
