Skibike Leash Manufacturer Promo Code
If you skibike in Colorado, you may need to wear a leash when using the chairlift or out on the slopes. Skibike leashes prevent bikes from dropping from the lift (and hitting someone below) or prevent a runaway skibike when you have fat powder skis on your bike or using a 3-ski bike.
A fellow skibiker found a skibike leash manufacturer who makes pretty sweet looking leashes and is giving skibikers a 20% discount promo code. The Settles Bridge Supply House website can be found at http://www.settlesbridgesupplyhouse.com/winter-sports-accessories.html
To order your skibike leash, let Kevin the owner know this is for a skibike. In the notes section of the order form - put that this is for a skibike. That way they can make the attachment point a sturdy velcro wrist strap.
The leashes come in a variety of colors. Use the promo code SBSH20 when ordering to get your 20% off discount.
Here's the link to the skibike leash http://www.settlesbridgesupplyhouse.com/36quot-skibike-leash-with-wrist-str36.html

East Coast Skibike Meet at Loon Mountain in 2012
Don't forget about the annual skibike meet at Loon Mountain Ski Resort. The dates this season are February 17, 2012 - Feb 18, 2012.
I've never made it but have read about the groups days out on the hill on the Yahoo! Groups Skibike Forum. Sounds like it's always a fun time.
Skibikes have full access with no restrictions to Loon Mountain. Bring your peg or your bob. I don't know if lessons or rentals are available but I'm sure someone has a spare bike.
To hook up with the group, join the event's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/events/303874126308744/
